Your overall progress
10% Greetings!Welcome to the Stress and Depression Checkup, a new program sponsored by the UBC Faculty of Medicine Health Network for all full- and part-time faculty and staff (and their adult dependents) employed by the Faculty of Medicine. The Stress and Depression Checkup is a brief assessment of your current mood, stress level, and occupational functioning. The Checkup takes only a few minutes of your time and you receive your results immediately. Your answers remain completely anonymous and your scores will not be accessible to anyone at your workplace. The good news is that both depression and anxiety are very treatable conditions. If you are feeling depressed or anxious, you CAN feel better soon. We want to help faculty and staff identify and deal with depression and anxiety using the Stress and Depression Checkup and other confidential on-line self-care programs. We also want to evaluate whether the Stress and Depression Checkup helps to improve work function and overall quality of life. You will be asked to volunteer for a brief questionnaire study that takes less than 5 minutes to complete. You do not have to take part in this study in order to do the Checkup. Both the study and the Checkup are entirely anonymous and confidential – no one can tell who you are. Would you like to learn more about the study? No, I’d like to go straight to the Stress and Depression Checkup.
